After an encounter with a mysterious boy with strange abilities, Naruto Uzumaki soon finds himself in a tension-filled situation, especially after this week's episode.

Adapted from the manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, Naruto is an animated series broadcast on the Cartoon Network that centers on the adventures of the Naruto Uzumaki, a hyperactive ninja who is constantly searching for recognition and to be acknowledged as a leader and strongest of all ninjas in the village. The series also features Sasuke, the talented Academy heartthrob, and Sakura, a fierce fighter whose ultimate dream is to become a female ninja.

In this week's “Formation! New Team Kakashi,” Naruto manages to force the mysterious boy named Sai to withdraw.  In due course, however, Naruto finds out that Sai, the boy who attacked him, is actually assigned to join Team Kakashi, which also includes Yamato, Naruto, Sakura Haruno, Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyuga, and Kiba Inuzuka.

As the series develops, Yamato steps up to become the new team leader in place of the injured Kakashi.  In the episode “Making an Unnecessary Addition,” which is expected to air on November 22, Yamato notices that Naruto and Sakura are not getting along too well with Sai.  When Sai insults Sasuke in front of Naruto and Sakura, Yamato decides to use a jutsu to create a hot springs in an effort to ease some tension in the group.

Another spoiler for Naruto involves Sai and Naruto in another troublesome plot. In the episode “A Fake Smile,” which is set to air on November 29, Sakura sees Sai painting and realizes that he has a soft side.  She attempts to learn more about him but Sai asserts that he has no emotions.  Once again, tension fills the air when Naruto arrives.
