It's hard to get the drop on this lovable Karma-afflicted redneck these days, but none-the-less we managed to scrape up a hints about what is to come on My Name is Earl.
The February 8th Episode, title 'Blow', again addresses Joy's legal problems. This has been an overarching plot on
My Name is Earl for some time now, and while not as huge as the Randy/Catalina conundrum that was addressed in the February 1st Episode of
My Name is Earl, Foreign Exchange Student, it is still one Earl fan's would love to see put to bed.
In a highly improbable coincidence (it wouldn't be
My Name is Earl without one!), Earl tackles making good on a bit of identity theft only to find out the woman he victimized is Joy's long last sister. Seems Joy could use some help from a familial presence to invoke some sympathy from the court. The problem is Liberty and Joy already know each other - and are sworn enemies. Can Earl right the wrong and convince Liberty to give Joy a hand?
I must say I've been Particularly happy with the
My Name is Earl has been dealing with it's lingering elements lately, the show really does work better as an episodic comedy than a semi-serialized one.
the real challenge for the
My Name is Earl writing staff is to keep these coincidences going without the story becoming some rural redneck fairy-tale of impossible kismet.
As for future
My Name is Earl episodes, the elusive redneck is keeping his secrets well but we do have a couple of titles for you. On February 15th will be 'The Birthday Party" and February 22nd the very interestingly titled 'Guess Who's Coming out of Joy'.
