We reported last time that Beverly Hills 90210 alum Jason Priestley will be playing Brandon – not on its supposedly modern and hip remake on the CW, but on the NBC sitcom My Name is Earl.  He will, however, direct an episode of 90210 so who's to say reprising his role as Brandon Walsh is not far behind?

On tonight's episode of My Name is Earl called “Quit your Snitchin,” Earl (Jason Lee) discovers that he is no longer covered by the criminal code of ethics when someone steals Randy's (Ethan Suplee) birthday present from him.  He then struggles with the idea of going to the police, despite Joy's (Jaime Pressly) protests that snitches are the lowest of the low.

In other My Name is Earl news, Nadine Velasquez, who plays beautiful Latin immigrant slash hotel housekeeper slash stripper on the show, recently revealed to TV Scoop where she thinks season four of the series is headed.

“I think the idea was to keep continuous storylines going, and it was pretty nutty.  Greg Garcia (the writer) wanted to put Earl in different situations, and it does work because we have the help of the community, the Camdenites, and he still has his list.  But there was a lot more going on, what with the jail and the coma.”

Velasquez, 29, moreover told us a thing or two about her role.

“Catalina is always the friend that's a little bit kooky,” she says.  “She has good advice, but also a little mysterious.  She's never really surprised by anything, and it took me a little while to figure out what the mindset was for Catalina.  But it is a person who doesn't have too many judgments.  She's sassy and knows what's going on in this crazy world.”
