It's been four months since
Jaime Pressly gave birth to her first baby boy with fiancé Eric Cubich and yet the 30-year-old cast member of
My Name is Earl has already shed all her post-pregnancy weight.
Pressly, who earned her second Emmy nomination for playing trashy Joy Turner on the NBC series, first flaunted her shapely body while celebrating her 30th birthday bash at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas with Cubiche.
"I went on the cabbage soup diet which is a detox diet, and it is definitely all about high protein and low carbs,” she told Fox News. "And I started working out at the gym with my trainer 10 days after the birth - five days a week for two hours every day. Today I went to McDonald's and ate two cheeseburgers. You have to treat yourself every now and then."
“I personally don't think I look smoking hot, but Eric tells me I do. I think he's biased," she added.
Ironically, Pressly's character will be pregnant when
My Name is Earl returns for a third season on September 27 at 8pm ET/PT.
"I'm going to deliver the baby on the show. I'm coming back in shape and I have to wear a fat suit," she said. "Incredible."
Nevertheless, she has plenty of pleasant summer memories to get her by. She and Cubiche spent their first family vacation with their baby in the Bahamas, and the actress is getting the hang of going on the road with a baby.
"We came with 15 bags instead of three. For one child, you have 800 bags," she said. "I know people look at us and think, 'Jesus, how many shoes did you pack?' But, hello, it's diapers and formula and toys."
Fortunately for the couple, the baby is easy to manage.
"Such a good baby. He's an angel. Chill, relaxed, calm. We got lucky. I'm scared the next one will be the devil. It'll be a girl," the
Earl actress said.
