The second season of TBS'
My Boys ends tonight, and according to show star
Michael Bunin, fans can expect to see “a lot of discoveries” and heavy decision-making during the one-hour season finale.
For one, Bunin, who plays sports memorabilia shop owner Kenny Moritorri in the comedy series, said that
Jim Gaffigan's character, Andy Franklin, will be going through some changes following news that he and his wife are going to have another child.

“We see him struggle with where he is in life, we then see him try to change things up! Maybe even go a little crazy,” Michael Bunin posted on his
TV Guide blog for
My Boys.
Created and executive-produced by Betsy Thomas,
My Boys is a comedy series that follows the lives of a single female sportswriter and her male-dominated group of friends. The show is set in Chicago, where protagonist PJ Franklin (
Jordana Spiro) works for the
Chicago Sun-Times.
On his
TV Guide blog, Bunin said the characters will, in tonight's finale, come to an important realization about living in Chicago.
“PJ and the guys realize that even though they live in Chicago they may have taken some of the city for granted,” Michael Bunin said. “They all start to admit the things they have never done.”
Working off from that realization, the gang decides to “have [their] day checking things off the list,” and along the way, PJ finally confronts the most important question that has been plaguing her all season: Who is she taking to Italy?
Of PJ's dilemma, Bunin said, “While thinking about who to take she seems be letting Mike (
Jamie Kaler) and Kenny slip into her unconscious a little, and it scares her.” The actor also revealed that PJ does board the plane, but failed to say to whom she gives the other ticket.
With regards to the next season, Bunin did not offer any inside look, though an interview
TV Guide conducted with Spiro late last month revealed the 30-year-old actress' hopes for her character next season.
"She covers only one sport, but I would love it if she became a columnist and she could cover different sports. I would really love it if she'd start covering the [Chicago] Bears," Spiro told
TV Guide.
The two-episode season finale of
My Boys airs tonight at 10pm on TBS.
