Next month, fans will get to know Mick St. John (Alex O'Loughlin) a little bit better as Moonlight taps onto an episode that features the immortal vampire even more wrapped up in the past.  Mystery and déjà vu entwine in the episode entitled “The Ring,” which is scheduled to air on Friday, November 9.

Created by Ron Koslow and Trevor Munson, Moonlight is a horror drama series that follows a Mick St. John, a private investigator whose bride, Coraline (Shannyn Sossamon), turned him into a vampire 60 years ago on their wedding night.  At present, the immortal being defies the traditional blood-sucking norms of his vampire tendencies by using his wit and powerful supernatural abilities to help the living while struggling with his forbidden love for a mortal woman, Beth Turner (Sophia Myles), not to mention his dealings with other vampires in the city.  Also included in the cast is Josef Konstantin (Jason Dohring), a centuries old vampire who also serves as St. John's mentor.

The seventh episode of the horror series features Mick as he experiences déjà vu.  He gets many flashbacks when a fire investigation that destroys a historic Hollywood hotel seemingly replicates the night that Coraline died.  Another spoiler for this episode is that his sense of nostalgia eerily grows when a woman he is working with bares a striking resemblance to his ex-wife.

Also featured on “The Ring” are Brian Maillard (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pokemon), Roddy Jessup (The Pardoner's Tale), Rhomeyn Johnson (Boston Legal), Stephen Jackson (Staying Together), and Tami Roman who will be reprising her role as Maureen.  This episode is written by Josh Pate and is directed by Chris Fisher.
