CBS will attempt to give its fall lineup a boost with a new series entitled
Moonlight. The upcoming series, which will take the Friday 9 pm niche, will feature a vampire/ private eye who struggles to exist with his immortal curse.
Moonlight features the lead character Mick as he tries to resist against his basic vampire nature, while he uses his sharpened vampire senses to help the living instead of preying on the human race. Of course, this goes against the beliefs of other vampires, most especially Coraline, his bloodsucking wife and eventually sparks conflict among the dark creatures. To add more complications, Mick has fallen for Beth Turner, a reporter tasked to investigate the sudden increase of unusual homicides in the area.
