Teen Choice Awards: 'Twilight,' Taylor Swift Win Big
Teens across America have spoken: They love Twilight, Taylor Swift, The Hunger Games and Justin Bieber.

The Teen Choice Awards, hosted Sunday night by Demi Lovato and Kevin McHale, handed out surfboards for categories in music, film and television after a record 134 million votes were cast.

In front a star-studded crowd and thousands of screaming fans, DJ Pauly D spun tunes, No Doubt debuted their new single and Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Flo Rida also performed.

Twilight won the night's top award, Ultimate Choice, and Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson accepted the award. The saga has won a whopping 41 awards. Stewart also won Romance Movie Actress (Breaking Dawn: Part 1) and Female Movie Star of the Summer (Snow White and the Huntsman).

"We owe everything to you guys," Lautner said. Pattinson and Stewart ended up giving their surfboards to the audience.

Swift took home five surfboards -- Female Artist, Female Country Artist, Single By a Female Artist ("Eyes Open"), Country Song ("Sparks Fly") and Movie Voice (Audrey in The Lorax).

The Hunger Games was another multiple winner for book and sci/fi-fantasy. The film's stars also won: Jennifer Lawrence (Sci-fi/Fantasy Actress), Liam Hemsworth (Movie Scene Stealer), Alexander Ludwig (Movie Villain) and Josh Hutcherson (Sci-fi/Fantasy Actor).

Bieber won Male Artist, Male Summer Music Star, Male Fashion Icon and Single By a Male Artist ("Boyfriend").

"For me? Thank you so much," Bieber said while panting heavily after just performing "Boyfriend" and "As Long As You Love Me."

Bieber's other half, Selena Gomez -- who also celebrated her 20th birthday -- accepted Choice Music Group for Selena Gomez & the Scene.

"This is the best birthday ever," she said.

The Vampire Diaries also had a great night, winning for Sci-fi/Fantasy TV Show. Its cast also picked up awards: Nina Dobrev (Sci-fi/Fantasy TV Actress), Michael Trevino (Male TV Scene Stealer), Candice Accola (TV Female Scene Stealer) and Ian Somerholder was named Sci-fi/Fantasy Actor and Male Hottie.

Somerholder asked the crowd if they wanted them to take off his shirt, but then said he'd get in trouble if he did. He also gave thanks to her parents and fans on behalf of Miley Cyrus, who won Female Hottie/Female Fashion Icon, but was not present.

Zac Efron picked up two awards -- Drama Actor and Romance Actor -- for The Lucky One, which also won Movie Drama. Emma Stone also won twice for Comedy Actress (Crazy, Stupid, Love) and Drama Actress (The Help).

Jonah Hill was on hand to accept Movie Comedy for 21 Jump Street. Ellen DeGeneres won for Comedian, and also presented mini-boards to Sophia Grace and Rosie for Web Stars.

The night's host also joined in on the awards. Lovato took home Female Music Star of the Summer and Twit, while McHale's Glee was voted TV Comedy as were cast members Chris Colfer for TV Actor Comedy and Lea Michele for TV Actress Comedy.
