Yojiro “Yoji” Harada Biography:

Yojiro “Yoji” Harada is originally from Tokyo, Japan. At 32 years old, he has covered almost every inch of both his arms with tattoos, indicative of belonging to the Japanese mafia Yakuza. Consequently, his dark tattoos have made him an intimidating but respected figure in Tokyo. Yoji gave his first tattoo when he was 19 years old. It was the name of a former girlfriend. Aside from tattooing, Yoji also sings lead for a punk rock band. Yoji recently tied the knot and has a baby girl named Sydney.

Although Yoji finds himself at a high position in Tokyo, he is only an apprentice on TLC’s reality series, Miami Ink. Being a rookie tattoo artist means that Yoji does not only have to clean up after every one in the shop, he also must endure the other tattoo artists’ constant jeers and demands. Nevertheless, despite the harsh treatment, Yoji’s “masters” love him and are very protective of him.
