Hugh Simon is an actor/producer best known for his role as Malcolm Wynn-Jones on the spy drama, MI-5. He has an extensive career on television and has appeared in numerous popular series. Among his television credits prior to MI-5 are Dangerfield, Highlander, North Square and Cold Feet. He is also credited as a co-producer for the bizarre and unusual 1991 production, The Cabinet of Dr. Ramirez.

Malcolm Wynn-Jones, played by Hugh Simon on MI-5, is the encyclopedic analyst in the series. While not much is divulged about his personal life, he is depicted as having been visibly shaken and affected when his friend and colleague, Colin Wells, is executed.
