Men In Trees has been off the air for several weeks now ever since ABC altered its schedule to accommodate the return of
Women's Murder Club, which moved to Tuesdays while
Boston Legal moved to the Wednesday slot that used to be the home of the romantic dramedy starring
Anne Heche. Putting the series on hold for third time has left viewers on the edge, not knowing when and how the show will resolve its loose ends. But now, the network has decided to make room for the return of
Men In Trees.

At least they are trying to tie up loose ends - and not leaving us in the dark! :)

Ugh! ABC, please just put Men In Trees out of its misery!
Marin Frist (Anne Heche), Jack Slattery (
James Tupper) and the rest of the residents of the fictional town of Elmo will return on air tonight at 10pm. The first of three new episodes is called "New Dogs, Old Tricks" and features Marin as she helps a nervous Jack as he prepares for his first lecture as a college professor in Anchorage. Upon his return, he surprises Marin with four puppies that she ends up taking care of. These puppies also take up most of her time and prevent her from finishing her book.
At the same time, Anne is disturbed by a dream involving Ivan (Diego Klattenhoff) and thinks that she might be falling for him as she puts together auditions for Elmo's First Annual Talent Show. Elsewhere, Patrick is confused about Pilar's (Sofa Vergara) advances toward him.
Although the remaining new episodes of the second season of
Men In Trees have been added to ABC's schedule, that doesn't mean that the series will get picked up for a third season as the show has already been officially canceled as of May 4.
Men In Trees also stars
Abraham Benrubi as Ben Thomasson,
Emily Bergl as Annie O'Donnell,
Seana Kofoed as Jane,
Suleka Mathew as Sara,
Derek Richardson as Patrick Bachelor, Cynthia Stevenson as Celia Bachelor,
Sarah Strange as Theresa, Lauren Tom as Mai Washington, and
John Amos as Buzz Washington.
