Of course, it's big sister to the rescue.

Jessica Simpson lashed out on Melrose Place via Twitter last week, calling it "crap." Needless to say, this has absolutely nothing to do with younger sister Ashlee-Simpson Wentz being axed from the CW series.

Don't forget to catch: Auggie and Violet Leave 'Melrose Place' - Auggie's Character 'Too Dark'

Weird, because the 29-year-old singer used to be a big fan of Melrose Place that she even regularly Tweets about it, reminding her followers to catch the remake every single week. Apparently, things changed on Sunday, when she had a weird and sudden change of heart.

"CW catching up on MP. Who writes this crap? I have had bad scripts to work with, but this? Thank God my sister is amazing and got you some press."

Both Simpson and another cast member Colin Egglesfield were canned from the soap, but for two different reasons, Egglesfield for his character Auggie being too dark and Simpson for, well, not being a very good actress.

"They hired her because they needed a good name to help create buzz," a set insider told Us Weekly. "But she was embarrassingly bad. Producers cut her down as much as possible."

Yikes. Do you also think Ashlee Simpson-Wentz can't act to save her life and therefore was rightly fired from Melrose Place?
