If you thought Cris Judd, the choreographer hired to help Melissa get her booty shake on in last night's episode of RHONJ, looked familiar, it's because he had a brief marriage to Jennifer Lopez back in 2001 and has been making a career out of it ever since. Now he's talking about Melissa's potential to be a dance star like the many others he's worked with (not including Kris Jenner, whom he attempted to train on Keeping Up with the Kardashians).

"My initial thoughts were 'we have a lot of work to do,'" Cris told Bravo's The Dish. "I wanted to see how well she moved naturally and what was in her vocabulary. She was very nervous in front of me and I needed her to get past that."

As far as her talent relative to his other pupils, Cris said Melissa was not the best, but she was far from the worst.

"On a scale from one to ten I thought of her as around a four or a five," Cris said. "She had natural movement but not a lot of experience. This was her second single so there wasn't a lot of stage and performance experience. The project was to get her comfortable with herself and not have a bunch of nervous energy to harness that fear and learn to deal with it and demand her audience to watch and listen to her."

Cris did say that what Melissa lacked in experience, she made up for with determination.

"Melissa was a very hard worker, she did everything I asked of her. If she didn't get it we worked on it until she did. She was a trooper and a true professional. You can tell that she really wanted to do a great performance. She was great to work with."

Cris also had some stories to share about what it was like to work with Melissa.

"During one of the run throughs she was wearing her heels and was really going full out and went to change direction and slipped and literally flew up into the air and busted her ass on the floor," he said. "It was a 'Holy Sh--!!!' moment. She laid there stunned and I ran over to see if she was OK, and once she realized that she was OK we laughed our asses off. It happens to the best of us--it's happened to me as well in my career. Sorry Melissa!"
