Born on March 18, 1965 in England, David Cubitt previously worked on a cable music video show entitled Night Vision while attending college. His passion for acting eventually made him leave school. Later, he landed a part on the film
Alive. His exposure in the film gained him more projects like the Canadian series
Traders, where he starred and acquired a Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role. His other credits included
That’s Life, Robbery Homicide Division, Ali, Swann, I Shot A Man in Vegas, The American Embassy, The Outer Limits and
A Killer Among Friends to name a few.
Cubitt plays Lee Scanlon on the series
Medium. He portrays a detective who accompanies Allison in her exploration of crimes. Although he was initially not a believer of Allison’s psychic abilities, he now supports her in her endeavors, which greatly enhances the plot. His inclusion to the series definitely prolongs his exposure on the television loop.
