Scot Williams was born November 29, 1972 in Liverpool, England. He made his film debut in the Beatles biographical movie,
Backbeat, in which he played the fab four’s early drummer, Pete Best. Soon after, he found out that he was related to Alun Owen, 1965 Oscar nominated writer of
A Hard Day’s Night. Fortunately, they were able to touch base with each other for the first time, weeks before Owen died in 1994. Williams has since appeared in a number of television shows like
Soldier Soldier,
Liverpool 1,
Nice Guy Eddie,
Mersey Beat and
Lilies.
Tom Tyrell, played by Scot Williams on
Meadowlands, is the professional golfer and first ever resident at Meadowlands. Tom’s life revolves around the game which makes him bland beyond belief even though he is content and happy that way.
