Nina Sosanya was born in London and trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. She appeared as Desdemona in Othello, Olivia in Twelfth Night and Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream. She joined the Royal Shakespeare Company and played in Henry V before going on to the National Theater where she performed in Anthony & Cleopatra and House and Garden. She has appeared in television shows like The Jury, Teachers, Nathan Barley, Sorted and Doctor Who. She has also been in movies such as Code 46, Renaissance and Love, Actually.

Samantha, played by Nina Sosanya on Meadowlands, is Danny Brogan’s career-driven handler. She appears confident and ruthless but is unaware of a terrible secret that has been kept from her all her life.
