Don Gilet was born in 1967 in Walsall, West Midlands, England. He is a skilled break-dancer and disc jockey who first appeared on television in the children’s show, Playaway. He has since been in other shows like Brothers and Sisters, Casualty, Holby City, Doctor Who and 55 Degrees North.

Freddie Marcuse, played by Don Gilet on Meadowlands, is the personal trainer and fitness expert at the Leisure Center.
