Actors Kyle Gallner and Madeleine Martin have signed on to play siblings in the 19th episode of this season of Criminal Minds. The siblings, James and Lara, are said to follow a certain odd belief system their mother passed on to them prior to her death.

Gallner will be recognizable to Veronica Mars fans as Cassidy 'Beaver' Casablancas, the troubled young man who played a vital role in the ongoing mystery of the show's second season. Gallner has also had recurring roles on Big Love and CSI: NY.

Martin is best-known for her role as Becca Moody on the Showtime drama Californication.

Tasked with getting the best performances out of these two talented young actors is Criminal Minds star Matthew Gray Gubler, who will once again be stepping into the director's chair for episode 19.

Gubler previously directed the season 5 episode "Mosley Lane" and last season's "Lauren," Paget Brewster's first farewell episode. (As reported last week, Brewster will once again be exiting the series when her contract expires in May and will not return for the show's practically-guaranteed 8th season.)
