Are you excited for So You Think You Can Dance tonight? I sure am! I am looking forward to some great performances and what type of frock our hostess Cat Deeley will wear. Her closet must be like a fashion wonderland!

Sadly, we also have to say goodbye to two more dancers. Alexis Juliano and Curtis Holland, both tappers, were cut from the competition last week.

Tonight, the top 10 dancers will be revealed. Did your favorite do enough to stay in the competition? Who will leave the show tonight, just shy of making the top 10?

Get ready, people! This is the So You Think You Can Dance live blog!

First, we have a group Bollywood dance which crackles with energy.

Our resident judges, Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy, are joined by guest judge, choreographer Kenny Ortega. Cat Deeley looks smashing once again in a lacy white dress.

Cat tells us that she has bad news (again). Tucker has an infection in his knee. Yikes! He is not able to perform tonight, but if he manages to survive the eliminations, he will automatically be in danger next week.

Next up are the results.

Solos

First up is Tucker's solo, which is strong and athletic. Amy's solo is energetic and charismatic. It's as if she really is dancing for her life! Malece performs a good routine, but I think that her energy is lacking a bit. Alan's performance is fun and full of energy.

Hayley Erbert and Nico Greetham

Broadway choreographed by Sean Cheesman

Tonight, we learn what the duos have learned about each other. Nico and Hayley have only been dancing together for a week. Nico reveals that Hayley loves animals, and Nico has some seriously wild hair if he doesn't wear a cap after a shower. This routine is about a gypsy fortune teller and it is amazing! It is incredibly athletic and entertaining. Hayley and Nico receive a standing ovation from the judges. Nigel Lythgoe loves it and says that it is one of the best Broadway routines ever shown on the show. Mary Murphy raves about their chemistry and technique.

Malece Miller and Alan Bersten
Jazz choreographed by Mandy Moore

Alan says that Malece is a shopaholic. Malece tells us that Alan is from Minnesota, despite his accent. Their Gene Kelly inspired routine is nice, but it seems as if their connection is off. Kenny Ortega thinks that Malece sparkles, but their chemistry is lacking. Nigel feels that the routine was lacking in both technique and chemistry.

The top 10 dancers will hit the country in the fall for a nation-wide tour. Fun!

Jenna Johnson and Alex Wong
Paso Doble choreographed by Jean-Marc Genereux

What do we learn about Tucker and Jenna? Tucker clues us in to how Jenna snorts when she laughs. Jenna is mortified, and tells us that Tucker always smells great. Since Tucker cannot perform because of his knee infection, Alex Wong fills in for a pirate-themed Paso Doble. It is dramatic and steamy. Mary Murphy loves it, and I have to agree. Kenny Ortega tells Jenna that she is one of his favorite dancers. We will not repeat Nigel's pirate joke. (You are welcome!)

Makenzie Dustman and Paul Karmiryan
Contemporary choreographed by Mandy Moore

Makenzie reveals that Paul bites his nails. Paul picks on Makenzie's funny facial expressions. This routine is about secret lovers. It is gorgeous and filled with emotion. They receive a standing ovation from the audience and judges. Nigel Lythgoe enjoys it immensely. Mary Murphy commends the effortless quality of their dancing.

Amy Yakima and DuShaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall

Viennese Waltz choreographed by Jean-Marc Genereux

Fik-Shun shares that Amy hums while she eats. Amy spills that Fik-Shun likes to sleep in strange spots, like the hallway. This number is based on Amy and Fik-Shun's partnership. It is elegant and has a celebratory feel. Mary points out that there are some technical issues, but both dancers perform well. Nigel tells Amy that she is a beautiful dancer and that he will be upset if Amy leaves the competition tonight.

Jasmine Harper and Aaron Turner
Hip-Hop choreographed by NappyTabs

Aaron tells us that Jasmine has an alter ego named Monet when the music comes on. Jasmine says that Aaron is a party animal and disc jockey. Their number is about a stage coach robber and saloon girl. The dance routine is filled with swag and is a crowd-pleaser. Jasmine and Aaron earn a standing ovation from the judges. Kenny Ortega thinks that choreographers will be lining up to work with them. Nigel loves Jasmine's performance, and Mary gives raves all around.

Group Dance -- The Guys
Hip-Hop choreographed by NappyTabs

This dance is about the weight that men have to pull in relationships. Tucker has to sit this one out due to his injury. The guys are dancing with a rope. It is masculine and fun.

Group Dance -- The Girls
Contemporary choreographed by Stacey Tookey

This routine is about starlets who meet at the fountain of youth. It is powerful and showcases the female dancers dancing around a fountain.

Next up are the results. Here we go!
