In 2015, ABC is going back in time nearly 70 years with Marvel’s Agent Carter. The new eight-part series that serves as a spin-off of the popular Captain America films will debut Tuesday, January 6 at 9pm.
ABC also released a new video preview for the new series starring Hayley Atwell at the origins of SHIELD in 1946. Check it out:
In addition, ABC has set the finale and return dates for many popular dramas, and the premiere date for the new musical comedy Galavant.
ABC’s Thursday night block of Shonda Rhimes shows, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder, will all take an early winter break, ending their fall runs on November 20. After a 10-week hiatus, all three will be back on Thursday, January 29.
Resurrection and Revenge will end on December 7, both returning in early January, while Once Upon a Time ends its fall run on Sunday, December 14 at 8pm, not returning until March 1.
Castle, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Nashville will all come to an end in the second week of December, from December 8-10. Agents of SHIELD won’t return until March 3 after Agent Carter concludes its run.
Besides these shows, the fairy tale musical comedy Galavant will premiere Sunday, January 4 at 8pm, taking over during OUAT‘s hiatus.
