Mike McCluney used to earn a living by assembling cars and teaching dance classes.  Fate took a different turn when he joined and endured MTV's reality search Making the Band 4 in 2007.  His beautiful voice, confidence and brand-new look all contributed to his triumph in gaining a spot for P. Diddy's all-male supergroup.  Raised on rich Southern cooking, one of Mike's struggles was keeping his weight down throughout the show.  In the end, through discipline and hard work, he did manage to slim down and even got a makeover.  For Mike, his newfound success is a venue for him to help others.
