At present, there are six remaining contestants vying for the top prize on Bravo's
Make Me A Supermodel. Out of the six left, four are men, which means that the male contestants are gradually dominating the competition. This, however, doesn't come as a surprise to host
Tyson Beckford.
In an interview with
OK! Magazine, Beckford admits to having gender bias when it comes to the hopefuls of
Make Me A Supermodel.

it is a competition of models and make me a supermodel is also a TV Show, and i will say it , i will see a ...
Beckford, a supermodel who is best known for representing Ralph Lauren, says that as the show progresses, the more he realizes that guys are better than the girls.
"When we first started the show, I thought, OK, the men aren't going to last,' just because modeling is such a predominantly women's business. Women are in control of this business. [However] the men have been winning the challenges. I've been instructing them on what to do, while Niki's [Taylor] been working with the women. Give me the men."
Beckford is really working to add zest to the show, which is quickly becoming a "must see gay TV." On a recent episode that paired two straight male models, the supermodel host encouraged them to push the envelope.
"It takes a real man to lick another man's face," Beckford told them approvingly.
So what does Beckford look for in a woman? According to the 37-year-old supermodel, he wants a girl to have a sense of humor and sophistication, which he finds very sexy.
So far,
Ben DiChiara,
Casey Skinner,
Holly Kiser,
Perry Ullmann,
Ronnie Kroell, and
Shannon Pallay are still in the running. Find out who will be eliminated next in
Make Me A Supermodel's episode called “New Orleans,” where the remaining contestants journey to New Orleans to do some charity work, work on a cemetery-themed photo shoot and a gothic runway show.
