In the world of competitive gymnastics, training is the key. A group of teen Olympic hopefuls prepare themselves for the ultimate test of skill to find out if they can Make It or Break It. The tension isn't all on the mat, with the drama escalating between team members as they make their way through everyday battles.
This one-hour scripted drama was created and written by Holly Sorenson, following what goes on behind every display of agility and grace in gymnastics. Make It or Break It is the story of Emily Kmetko (Chelsea Hobbs), a newcomer to the aspiring winners. She tries to fit in to their world, but it's proving to be difficult when practicing is as cutthroat as the competition itself.
Emily is surrounded by professionals - her teammates. There's the top gymnast Payson Keeler (Ayla Kell), the beautiful and talented Kaylie Cruz (Josie Loren), the incredibly competitive Lauren Tanner (Cassie Scerbo) and the attractive Carter Anderson (Zachary Burr Abel). While she tries her best to keep up, Emily has to learn what it takes to be part of a family.
As a group, the gymnasts will train and compete, laugh and cry, form bonds and even stab each other in the back. They'll realize more things about themselves as every session takes place, in the hopes that they all come up with a perfect routine. Helping them in their pursuit of a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team is Coach Keeler (Peri Gilpin), who will do whatever it takes to keep her team together. Make It or Break It
