The much anticipated final season of Mad Men
premieres Sunday, April 13. We're not ready for this fantastic to show to end, but, like all great TV it has to and AMC is seriously drawing it out. This Spring we'll only get the first seven episodes only to wait an entire year for the final seven. Talk about torture!
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
In the meantime, AMC teases us by releasing one of the most artistic posters ever on its Facebook page
. Among the colorful swirls and flowers are two of Draper's biggest downfalls - women and booze. If you remember the finale, our ad man seriously hit rock bottom. It was only a matter of time before he began to unravel, his demons wrecking his life more and more with each passing season. But will things start to look up for Don in the final episodes? Are the bright colors a sign that his outlook on life will be a whole lot rosier than it was in Season 6?
The video teaser AMC debuted for Mad Men
season 7 on its site doesn't give us much to go on either.
In the 15 second promo we see Don stepping down from a TWA airplane, dressed in a suit and putting on his iconic top hat. His soul should feel a whole lot lighter since coming clean about his past with his children. Is he landing in New York to rebuild his marriage with Megan and continue connecting with his kids? Or is he finally heading out to Los Angeles after his forced leave of absence to build up the agency's new office? Even better, is he going off to start a whole new life complete with another man's identity? Now that would make for a great spinoff!
What does the season have in store for the rest of the characters? Are we going to see Peggy move up the company ranks? What's in store for Roger, Ted, and Pete? And, most importantly, what stunning dresses will Joan wear this season?
There are just too many questions that just won't get answered until the premiere.Mad Men
