Everyone seems to be "conspicuously happy" on Mad Men, putting across a false impression of satisfaction while their problems got worse. Whether it's about Joan's marriage to a doctor or Peggy's euphoric high from smoking marijuana, we all know that it's not going to last forever and tonight's episode proves just that.

When we last saw the critically acclaimed drama, a mandatory overtime session left the writers trying to fend off -night boredom. Sally had a run-in with Grandpa, and Roger threw a party while Joan and Greg hosted one of their own.

The fourth episode of Mad Men called "The Arrangements" poses the question "what do you with an elderly parent who can longer live alone?" Don's relationship with his father-in-law Gene takes the spotlight when they get into a discussion, presumably about Sally's stealing antics last week or maybe simply because Gene is settling in town. At the same time, Peggy is looking for a roommate, and a very wealthy new client is hoping to do business with the firm.

Meanwhile, Mad Men fans have something else to celebrate besides an all-new episode tonight at 10/9c.  AMC has already renewed the series for a fourth season, coming on the heels of the show's recent high ratings.

"We always saw the potential for Mad Men, and believed in and supported the series because of our strategy of developing cinematic television that complements our library of the most entertaining movies, from every genre, on television. Its been extremely gratifying to see the show develop in to such a pop-cultural phenomenon with such a passionate fan base," AMC president Charlie Collier said in a statement. "With this early fourth season renewal, were excited to let our audience know the captivating world of Sterling Cooper will be back on AMC again next year."
