'Mad Men' Continues Tonight with "The Inheritance," Actress to Head to Broadway
Last week we saw the return of the second season of the Emmy Award-winning AMC series, Mad Men, which stars Jon Hamm as Don Draper, John Slattery as Roger Sterling, Vincent Kartheiser as Pete Campbell, January Jones as Betty Draper, Christina Hendricks as Joan Holloway, Elisabeth Moss as Peggy Olson, Michael Gladis as Paul Kinsey, Aaron Staton as Ken Cosgrove and Rich Sommer as Harry Crane.

Tonight, the show returns with Episode 2.10 entitled “The Inheritance.”  Read on to find out what's in store for tonight's episode.

Last week on Mad Men, Don and Betty finally came to the conclusion that their marriage wasn't working.  Roger, on the other hand, finally stopped complaining about his marriage and mustered up enough courage to leave Mona for the younger and seemingly more interesting Jane.  Peggy got another promotion but faced the consequences, while Freddie realized that Sterling Cooper wasn't the alcoholic haven he presumed it to be.

Tonight on AMC's Mad Men, the madness continues as Don and his team talk strategy for an upcoming business trip to Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Mad Men actress Elisabeth Moss, who plays Peggy Olson on the Emmy Award-winning series, is set to make her Broadway debut in the revival of David Mamet's Hollywood satire Speed-the-Plow.  Moss, who previously appeared as a burn victim in the film Girl, Interrupted, also played a pregnant teenager in Virgin and appeared as the president's daughter in the television series West Wing.

“It's just incredible,” Moss said of her career and the success of Mad Men.  “I was never a famous child actor, so the transition wasn't difficult.  I just went through it, and I started getting roles when I was 17 or 18.”

She adds that the show's Golden Globe Award win for best drama series on television was “a huge moment for us.  A lot of people caught up with the [first season], and things started to snowball.”

As for her Broadway debut, Moss will be playing Karen, who is similar to Mad Men's Peggy.  Karen was originally played by Madonna, and is a temporary secretary for a film producer.

In talking about the similarities between Peggy and Karen, she says, “She has the same sort of openness and honesty as Peggy.  I think she's the kind of person Peggy would have been 30 years later.”

The Mad Men actress, who also worked off-Broadway, is looking forward to her debut, saying, “Broadway will be a new and challenging experience; it's exciting.”

Catch Mad Men tonight at 10pm on AMC.
