In the barracks, Sayid found Ben’s secret room full of money and passports. But even with a super-enhanced screencap of the passport, it’s near impossible to make out anything.

What we can make out is some of the money, including a 20 pound note from England, which is emblazoned with a picture of….Michael Faraday, physicist and namesake to the island’s physicist, Daniel Faraday (who just gets awesomer with every episode).

When combined with the final scene of last night’s episode and the photo of him Miles is carrying around, we’re left to wonder, how often does Ben leave the island? We learned in season 3 that his claim to have spent all his life on the island was a lie, but now we see that he has passports and money to leave whenever he wants. How, why, where does he go, who does he meet? The best part of Benjamin Linus is that, just when you think you know him and what his endgame is, another layer is uncovered and we realize we know even less about him than we thought.
