We're gonna need a bigger DVR. ABC's plans for the final week of Lost
are getting a bit out of control, and as of now, the network has eight
hours of coverage devoted to Lost
for the week of its finale.
On Tuesday, May 18, viewers can catch the second-to-last episode at its
regular time, 9pm. On Saturday, May 22, ABC is airing the original
two-hour Pilot from 8-10pm. That leaves five hours for the actual day
of the finale, May 23.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
First, fans will get a two-hour look back at the series starting at 7pm leading to the two-hour series finale starting at 9pm. Then you can get a half-hour rest period before Jimmy Kimmel hosts a live post-Lost
special at 11:35pm.
Five hours in one night? It seems a bit much, but then I started to think about how complex and confusing the show is, and it makes sense.
ABC will need all two hours of the pre-show to explain what the heck is going on for the hopefully millions of former fans who will come back just to see how it all ends.(Image courtesy of ABC)
