Mr. Eko wants to return? Oh, sure, we'll see about that.
But with the final season of Lost
getting a little closer, and a handful of those supposedly dead characters returning or rumored to be returning, the possibility of seeing just anyone on the last 17 episodes (if I'm still counting correctly) is pretty much up there. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje wants to do the same, too.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
"Fans of Eko should have hope," he told Entertainment Weekly
during the premiere of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra
, which he is part of.
Now that sounds very... priestly.
Well, sure, he felt he's done everything he can with his character, and he eventually left at the same time writers decided to kill him off, he's now contemplating the idea of returning to the island.
"I loved playing that character," he said. "I loved working with that team and the reception I got from people was phenomenal. Even at Comic-Con this year. I went to sign my action figure for G.I. Joe
and people had tons of questions about Lost
. It makes you feel good that you could be off a show for more than a year and still have people thinking about your character. It was a great part."
And the return might just happen--well, provided a contract gets signed and a story's drawn up. "We have had talks about some things they might do for the final season and there are other dead folks coming back allegedly but at the moment it is still a maybe," Akinnuoye-Agbaje added. "A strong maybe, but I have not shot anything yet or signed any contracts. But I'm hoping."
Seeing him reunited with a returning Claire, Juliet and Boone would make sense, though. Pretty funny, but maybe...
