Previously on Lost
: Lawyers came for Aaron, Jack revived Sayid, and Charlotte had a massive seizure.
The episode starts back on the Searcher, Penny's boat, shortly after the Oceanic 6 made it off the Island. Kate (Evangeline Lilly
) asks Jack what they should do about Aaron and she comes up with the idea of pretending Aaron is hers, and while Jack (Matthew Fox
) is skeptical, he agrees so long as she's willing to go along with him in The Lie.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Three years later, Sun (Yunjin Kim
) loans Kate a dress so she can run an around while she leaves Aaron with Sun, minibar candy and 100 channels on TV. Only 100? That's nothing.
As Kate leaves, Sun gets a special delivery. It's a dossier with photos of Ben with Jack. The package also includes some chocolates with something special inside. No, not nougat, though that would be delicious. It's a gun! As we saw with Colleen Pickett in season 3, Sun is quite familiar with using firearms.
Kate visits the lawyer and tries to strike up a deal where she promises to give the blood sample if she can first speak to the mystery client. Norton doesn't think this is reasonable and attempts to make the exchange of custody as smooth as possible. Kate is worried, because Norton promises that “You're going to lose the boy.”
Jack is still treating Sayid (Naveen Andrews
) but gets pulled away by another doctor who tells him that he isn't supposed to treat patients. He also gets a call from Hurley (Jorge Garcia
) who says everything is fine because he's in jail. The sight of Hurley in an orange jumpsuit is pretty darn funny.
A male nurse visits Sayid to give him some medication, but Sayid is clued in that this man is a secret agent, so Sayid takes him out after getting an address from the man's pocket...Kate's address. Jack calls to warn her, but she's busy stalking Norton so he might lead her to his client. Jack goes after her while Ben (Michael Emerson
) and Sayid head off to get Hurley.
