If you've been watching LOST closely lately, have you noticed something a little different about the episodes? It's that feeling that something big is about to happen, something on the level that only LOST can deliver.   We've seen Locke's father apparently manifest on the island.  We've seen Smokey stopped by a mysterious magnetic fence.  Allegiances have changed with Locke joining the others, and now Juliet joining the 815r's.  The naysayers are full of predictions that LOST will once again pull the rug out from under it's viewers.  The truth is, LOST has just been getting warmed up.  Prepare for a month of episodes that will further your understanding, and at the same time annihilate any notions you ever had about just what the heck is going on with LOST.

4/11 - LOST 3.16 - One Of Us

What ABC says: Jack's joyous reunion with his fellow survivors is cut short when they realize that accompanying him is one of "The Others," and Claire is stricken by a mysterious, life-threatening illness.

Who Guest Stars:  Robin Weigert as Rachel, William Mapother as Ethan Rom, Brett Cullen as Goodwin, Andrew Divoff as Mikhail, Nestor Carbonell as Richard Alpert, Joah Buley as other dude and Tyrone Howard as airport guard.

What We Say: This Juliet centered episode picks up where 'Not in Portland' left off.  A few interesting inferences can be made from the guest list.  The presence of an airport guard is interesting since we know that Juliet arrived by sub.  Claire mysteriously gets sick when Juliet shows up, giving the former 'Other' a chance to endear herself through some heroics, no-doubt;  seems fishy to me, still don't trust her.  Andrew Divoff back as Mikhail?  Must be a flash back dude, right?

4/18 - LOST 3.17 - Catch 22

What ABC says:  Desmond coaxes Charlie, Hurley and Jin on a trek across the jungle after experiencing one of his future-prophesizing "flashes" -- but is he purposely placing Charlie's life in harm's way? Meanwhile, Kate turns to an unwitting Sawyer after seeing Jack alone with Juliet.

Who Guest Stars: Sonia Walger as Penny Widmore, Jack Maxwell as Derek, Joanna Bool as Ruth, Andrew Connolly as Brother Campbell, Andrew Trask as older monk and Marsha Thomason as Naomi.

What We Say:  Desmond being mysterious can only equal cool.  Guest cast reveals we will be seeing Desmond's love Penny again, but will it be on or off the island?  Past or future?  On the writing side of things, this is Brian K. Vaughn's first episode since joining the LOST writing team.  Vaughn is well known for producing just the kind of stories that LOST fans salivate over.

4/25 - LOST 3.18 - D.O.C

What ABC says:  After discovering that all of "The Others'" pregnant women died before giving birth on the island, an extremely reticent Sun allows Juliet to examine her -- and uncovers the identity of the unborn child's father. Meanwhile, Desmond allows an unlikely nemesis to help save the life of a new, mysterious island inhabitant.

Who Guest Stars:  Byron Chung as Mr. Paik, Andrew Divoff as Mikhail, Marsha Thomason as Naomi, John Shin as Mr. Kwon, Alexis Rhee as older woman, Esmond Chung as Paik's associate and Jean Chung as Paik's secretary.

What We Say: The fact that... what the!  Patchy again?  I thought he was dead!  Did he work for Sun's parents, or are we going to see him on the island again?  Could he be the 'unlikely nemesis'?  Mysterious Island inhabitant?  Note that Tony Lee's character of Jae Lee - who did a little fooling around with sun - is not on the cast .  Should we take this as a sign that he is not the father of the child?  For the purpose of continued dramatic value, it would seem that Jin being the father would have longer legs, especially with the difficulties of the "Others" to reflect on.
