Matthew Fox's remarkable physique and astonishing talent in acting has placed his career far above the ground. This crowd-puller ultimately became part of the popular series Lost where he won the 2006 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.
Born on July 14, 1966 in Crownheart, Wyoming, Matthew Fox attended Columbia University where he was a member of the Columbia Lions football team. He started acting with the Atlantic Theater Company and studied at the School for Film and Television in New York City. He got his first break on the television series Wings. Eventually, he landed roles on Schoolbreak Special, If I Die Before I Wake and My Boyfriend's Back but he was popularly known for his inclusion the drama series Party o Five. Portraying Jack Shephard in the series Lost, a surgeon stuck in the island, deeply suites his hunky persona. Engulfed with wit and brawns, he certainly gives balance in the kooky events of the show. Moreover, his ever dependable skills make him a very likable character.
