BuddyTV Gets 'Lost' All Next Week!

All next week I will be reporting to you live from Oahu, HI, the home of Lost.  What goodies await you?  Even I don't know, but I can tell you that as I type, forces are drawing together some plans that include a rendezvous or two, or three, or more, of the Lost luminary variety.  Being the Lost busy body that I am, expect lots of unique, tantalizing, and spoiler free reflections on Lost, island life, and time loops.   Read on for a little bit of what to expect.

The first thing to expect for sure, is a photographic tour of the various natural shooting locations that the island has to offer.  I'm working on something a little different for this slide show that I think will make it way interesting for Lost fans, think: our very own easter egg hunt, and who knows what personages we might bump into in our travels.

Second, but still in development, is some time with the Lost crew in some capacity.  They say a deal isn't done until the ink dries, and at this point the ink is not on paper yet, but I have a pretty good feeling the selection of official interviews and perhaps a few non spoilerish reports from the filming of Lost may be in your future.

Relaxing in Hawaii, basking in the lostness, meeting all the local celebrity fans like my good buddy Ryan Owza, will be the perfect opportunity to launch something that has been on the back burner here for some time.  A Lost themed forum game called "An 'Other' Among Us."  Think Clue played with elimination rounds.  If all goes well, the game will start Wednesday and will run through Saturday when a grand prize round will result in someone winning a piece of serious island schwag.

Now, on the subject of travel nightmares, I'll have a special tribute to the prepaid credit card company, Account Now.  They have this unique service where you purchase money paks and load them onto your card, saves you from having to worry about toting a real card around, only they were good enough to flag my card as fraud without calling me first, and have locked up all my travel expenses and have refused to let it go.  Yay.  So to salute my bare bones adventure, I'll pick a moment from my skid-row like accommodations and devote a very short paragraph to "Travel Nightmares brought to you by Paranoid Plastic, Account Now."  Should be fun.  How's this for a first one: got to the cash to pay for my flight supplies, and my card was declined. Yeah, I usually talk TV, but if I were to review pre-paid plastic at this moment, who do you think wouldn't make my list?

Paranoid pre-paid's aside, tune in next week beginning Tuesday for a daily Lost update loaded with action, adventure, and weird mysteries.
