American media personality Hilary Duff was born on September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas. She has gained fame for working as an actress, singer, songwriter, producer, and fashion designer. Duff began working onstage in theater productions at a young age, participating in classic ballet performances such as The Nutcracker Suite. She would later go on to do television commercials, and then landed the starring role of the titular character in Disney’s comedy series Lizzie McGuire.
