Adam Lamberg


American actor Adam Lamberg was born on September 14, 1984 in New York City. The son of a public high school teacher, He is also Jewish, and has stated that he considers himself a “cultural Jew.” Lamberg has acted in a number of stage productions such as The Gathering, Nine Armenians, and Adam Baum and the Jew Movie. He has also appeared on television in Radiant City, Dead Man’s Walk, and The Day Lincoln Was Shot. He was nominated for a Young Artist Award along with his fellow cast members for their work in the Disney comedy series Lizzie McGuire, and he has likewise worked on the Disney film Max Keeble’s Big Move.

David “Gordo” Gordon is played by Adam Lamberg in the Disney Channel comedy series Lizzie McGuire. One of Lizzie’s best friends, he and his family are Jewish, and he is shown experiencing a Bar Mitzvah at the age of 14. A bright and intelligent teenager who does well at every subject except for physical education, Gordo is brimming with self-confidence and doesn’t care very much about what others think of him. He later develops a crush on Lizzie, though they still stay friends. He also dreams of becoming a top film director like Steven Spielberg.
