Born in Wislow, Maine, Jeremy Greene is a buddying singer, song writer, dancer and producer that some say shows Justin Timberlake-like promise. He is a close family friend of actress Lindsay Lohan’s family and one of the mother Dina’s management charges. Jeremy Greene is born to a musically inclined family, both his grandfathers being in music, his mother being a singer and his father a recording artist for a country music label. His childhood, however, had not been a walk in the park. His mom struggled with substance abuse and his dad left when he was a child. At 14, he was forced into a foster care system, and he was transferring from one shelter to another.
Fortunately, these setbacks in life only pushed Jeremy to strive harder. Recalling a theater performance in school where he played the lead, he turned to the music of the likes of Jackson Five and Boz II Men for comfort and respite. At 18, he decided to pursue a career in music, writing his first song during a cool morning at 4 o’clock. Today, he has written over 70 songs.
Not forgetting his past, Jeremy Greene regularly volunteers for the Boys and Girls Center helping underprivileged children. He said he wants to show the kids that there are options in life. In 2002, he organized a benefit concert for the victims of the September 11 attack. He counts Usher, Montell Jordan, and Brian McKnight as his musical influences. He was rumored to have dated Lindsay Lohan early in 2008 and he called it “a gift and a curse.”
Jeremy appears on the E! reality show
Living Lohan , which chronicles Lindsay’s sister Ali’s attempt to follow her footsteps, while their mom Dina also acts as her manager. While Living Lohan primarily revolves around this venture, other members of the family and friends, such as Jeremy, are also given some airtime. The show follows the Lohans from their Long Island residence to wherever Ali’s dreams may take them. In the show, for instance, Dina accompanies Ali to a Las Vegas studio to record her would-be solo album.
