roloffFollowing three successful seasons of Little People, Big World, the award-winning docu-series returns with new adventures beginning Monday, October 13 at 8pm ET/PT.  According to TLC, the show, which follows the lives of the Roloff family, comprised of both little and average height people, will kick off with a one-hour premiere that features dad Matt Roloff traveling to Iraq to help a family with three dwarf children in desperate need of medical attention.

The special will then roll into 20 new episodes that find the entire Roloff family as they get involved in life-changing experiences.

"The opportunity to help this family in Iraq was both humbling and exciting, especially seeing firsthand what our troops are going through. It's awe-inspiring," Matt Roloff said.  "Even after all I've accomplished in my life, this experience has reminded me that we all face challenges some more extreme than others and we need to take every chance we have to make an impact in the world around us."

Aside from Matt's trip to Iraq, fans of Little People, Big World can also look forward to Matt creating some new plans for the family farm, twins Jeremy and Zach preparing for their high school graduations, Molly as she tries to get her driver's license, Jacob becoming fond of soccer, Amy dealing with the fact that her children are growing up, and the entire family taking a Florida vacation.

Little People, Big World remains to be one of TLC's highly rated series.  The first season generated solid ratings for the network, leading to the show's renewal for a second, third and fourth season.

"Little People, Big World will continue to share the big surprises and little moments that make the series one of the most engaging and addictive on TV today," TLC president Eileen O'Neill said in a statement.  "The series helps remind us of all we share in common, despite any differences we might have."
