'Little People, Big World' Star Graces the Big Screen

Martin Klebba, one of the Roloff’s closest friends who appear regularly on the reality show Little People, Big World, has been cast in the upcoming computer-animated film Foodfight!  Distributed by Lions Gate Films, the movie is scheduled to premiere on April 11, 2008.

In the movie Foodfight!, the Little People, Big World star will be providing the voice of Captain Krispy/General X.  The film also features the voices of Charlie Sheen as Dex Dogtective, Hilary Duff as Sunshine Goodness, Wayne Brady as Daredevil Dan, Eva Longoria as Lady X, Greg Ellis as Hairy Hold, Haylie Duff as Sweet Cakes, Chris Kattan as Polar Penguin, Christopher Lloyd as Mr. Clipboard, Daniel Franzese as Twinkleton, and Karen Gallo Messore as Blue.

Directed by Larry Kasanoff, the movie centers on a magical transformation that takes place on supermarket aisles when night falls.  As humans leave the grocery store, the detergent aisle becomes a metropolis similar to Manhattan’s Seventh Avenue where the boxes of Tide look a lot like the Chrysler building.  Subsequently, the products come alive and head towards the wildest club in town, the Copacabana, to party.  However, as Brand X invades the scene, a showdown of food fight occurs.  This eventually results to a duel between Brand X and supermarket heroes such as Dex Dogtective, Daredevil Dan and others to take control of the grocery store.

Apart from Foodfight!, Martin Klebba is also part of the film comedy film Carts.  He plays the character Joe, along with Douglas Spain as Roberto, Ted Lange as Sam, and Mo Collins as Hilda. In addition, he will be portraying the role of Mike Stinger in Black Mountain.  The said action-thriller movie also stars Lee Arenberg, Christian Oliver, Chad Lindberg, Alicia Fusting, Noel Gugliemi, Douglas Tait, Rob Holloway, and Seth Hoover.

Meanwhile, fans can catch Klebba on Little People, Big World every Monday at 8/7c on TLC.
