FOX's Portland affiliate, KPTV-TV, reported last Tuesday that Matthew Roloff, star of TLC's
Little People, Big World, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
On June 19, the 45-year-old was stopped at 11:52pm by a deputy for failing to drive within his designated lane. At the time of his traffic stop, Roloff was apparently driving a 2005 Chevrolet van through an incorporated area of Washington County, Oregon.

Hey like the show!!
"Mr. Roloff allegedly failed the field sobriety test and was arrested for DUII," the police report from Roloff's arrest says, according to
Entertainment Tonight. "Mr. Roloff was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was cited for DUII, refusing the breath test, and failure to drive within the lane."
This is not the first time that Roloff has been involved in headline-making situations. Last year, his son,
Jacob, and close family friend, Mike Detjen, were injured when a catapult made to throw pumpkins misfired. The catapult's 2,000-pound concrete counterweight struck then nine-year-old Jacob's head. He underwent surgery, while Detjen required more than 200 stitches.
Matt Roloff, whose family is the center of
Little People, Big World, told the
Portland Oregonian after the incident that he was not aware of the cause of the catapult's misfiring.
Little People, Big World debuted on TLC last March. Since then, it has aired two additional seasons, with the network reporting that the show's fourth and latest season will feature the family taking a road trip to Yellowstone National Park in a rented RV.
The series follows the lives of Matt Roloff and his wife,
Amy, both of whom have dwarfism along with their other son,
Zach. Jacob and the other Roloff children,
Jeremy and
Molly, are of average height and also appear on the show. The Roloff clan lives on a 34-acre farm in Helvetia, Oregon.
The fourth season of
Little People, Big World is set to premiere in the fall.
