Set in the Big Apple,
Lipstick Jungle follows three empowered women who take on the ups and downs of their lives as successful women in their own line of work. Starring
Brooke Shields as Wendy Healy,
Kim Raver as Nico Reilly and
Lindsay Price as Victory Ford, the NBC series was renewed for a second season, which began in September. The series, which also stars
Robert Buckley as Nico’s lover Kirby, will air episode 2.14 tonight, titled “Let the Games Begin.”
Tonight, fans will get to see Nico as she meets Kirby’s mother, played by Rosanna Arquette. Victory tries to concentrate on her work, but her latest project requires the help of Joe, who is avoiding her. Shane on the other hand, signs with a new manager, who sparks Wendy’s jealousy.
Meanwhile, Buckley recently spoke to People and shared some of his thoughts on his character’s sexual relationship with Nico.
"We are like the Cirque du Soleil of sex," the 27-year-old actor said about Kirby and Nico. "This season we've done it standing up, laying down.”
But when asked about what he feels whenever they need to shoot the intense scenes, Buckley admits, "By the fifth time, you’re like...whatever. And Kim's great. We just laugh our way through it.”
When it comes to his love life, he admits he doesn’t get as much action as his character as he is currently single. However, he says he’s keeping his “fingers crossed” that he’ll meet someone down the road.
Meanwhile,
Lipstick Jungle star Brooke Shields is also one to keep a healthy romantic relationship with husband Chris Lenchy. She admits that the two enjoy having bonding moments together with the kids.
"We love to go to boxing matches," the 43-year-old actress told OK! Magazine. “We love to cook in the house and have people over then we can have the kids with us.”
Catch Brooke Shields, Robert Buckley and the rest of the cast of
Lipstick Jungle tonight at 10pm on NBC.
