As is customary when one season of Dancing with the Stars ends, the rumor mill on the next set of stars starts grinding. And while some (Betty White) are certainly more welcome than others (Fergie), we can't help but be excited about some prospects.

BuddyTV's 'Dancing with the Stars' Season 11 Wish List

On this edition of Dancing with the Stars roundup: Is Dancing winner Nicole Scherzinger tying the knot? Are Chad Ochocinco and Cheryl Burke continuing their romance post-DWTS? Finally: will Lindsay Lohan go Dancing with the Stars?

Perfect Candidate? An unidentified show insider tells Us Magazine that Lindsay Lohan is a "perfect" candidate for DWTS, echoing former contestant Aiden Turner, who said that the show is what the tabloid darling needs at the moment. Unfortunately (or otherwise), a source close to the actress insisted that she's focused on her "acting career" as of the moment.

Fergie on DWTS? We've all heard about it. Stuck in a financial rut, disgraced royal Fergie tells Inside Edition that she'd "quite like to go" on Dancing with the Stars. "I would like somebody to teach me to tango ... I do love the show and my children would be so proud of me." Is it just us or did Kate Gosselin utter the exact same line?

Nicole's on a roll. After snagging last season's mirror ball trophy, Nicole Scherzinger might have acquired another piece of shiny hardware when long-time boyfriend and F1 driver Lewis Hamilton reportedly proposed to her, The Sun reports. A source claims the couple will be announcing their engagement soon.

Who's dissing Kate now? Gilles Marini was apparently one of the scores of people who didn't enjoy Kate Gosselin's constant drama on DWTS. He tells E! Online that he for one started watching last season as soon as she was eliminated. "If you don't put the time and your mind into it, you're not lasting, and I think this is what happened to her."

Chad and Cheryl post-DWTS. The flirting between these two just isn't stopping even after their season on DWTS. The Bengals star reportedly chided Burke -- "No cheating on me" -- when the pro was celebrating her birthday in Vegas. She's quite open to the possibility, saying "If he doesn't find love on his dating show, and if I'm still around, then he might still have a chance."

Joan Rivers on DWTS? Perhaps inspired by the Betty White on SNL campaign, Joan Rivers is enlisting her fans to help her snag a spot on the next season of DWTS. "I want to be on Dancing with the Stars," the Celebrity Apprentice winner told HollywoodLife.com. "I'm wearing my tap shoes right now!"
