Last week, ABC Family's
Lincoln Heights returned for yet another run. The second season premiere, which aired on Tuesday, September 4, was deemed as a huge success as it surpassed the series freshman debut across all key targets.
Compared to season 1, season 2 positively delivered with a significant increase of 14 percent in total viewers, 8 percent in adults 18-49, 6 percent in women 18-49, 35 percent in persons 12-34 and by 17 percent in females 12-34.

Lincoln Heights is a series that centers on a cop's family who moves back to his old neighborhood of Lincoln Heights to star a new. Drama unfolds as he struggles to raise his family while he copes up with everyday issues as a law enforcer on the street. The ensemble includes
Russell Hornsby (Eddie Sutton),
Erica Hubbard (Cassie Sutton), Nikki Micheaux (Jenn Sutton), Rhyon Brown (Lizzie Sutton),
Mishon Ratliff (Taylor Sutton),

This season, the Suttons will be dealing with many new and exciting challenges. Eddie is injured in the line of duty and, as a result, he becomes homebound for quite some time. This adjustment is not only difficult for him, but for the whole family as well. Jenn tries to balance her busy home life as she finds herself leaving the hospital to work in the local clinic to help her community. Meanwhile, Cassie and Charles are back to school and their romance heats up after being on hold for the summer while she was away at art camp.
As for Taylor and Lizzie, they continue to face peer pressure and other teenage issues. Eddie's partner Lund, on the other hand, unexpectedly deals with his wild teen daughter, Sage, as she comes to live with him and shakes up his single world.
Lincoln Heights airs every Tuesday at 8/7c on ABC Family.
