Lil' Bush
Lil’ Bush is a politically satirical animated television series which features cartoon versions of the members of the George W. Bush administration and other political leaders around the world. Created by Donick Cary, the genius behind The Simpsons and Just Shoot Me, the series premiered on June 13, 2007 on Comedy Central.

The series criticizes the Bush administration’s policies in an indirect manner, such as the Iraq War and provides scenes where Bush handles certain scenarios with pure recklessness. The series is set in an alternate reality of the present day where George WH. Bush is the current president of the United States and his son George W. Bush (Lil’ George) and his real-life administration staffs are children studying at the Beltway Elementary school. Lil’ George and his schoolmates play an important part in deciding issues that concern the whole nation. They are like little rascals with access to A-bomb. Naturally, they always get into troubles, but they also learn new things and even meet up with friends (Lil’ Tony Blair) and foes (Lil’ Kim Jong I).

Lil’ Bush (Chris Parson) like the real George W. Bush, likes giving various nicknames to people. He doesn’t seem to know that Lil’ Condi is in fact a girl. He has a new crush in school that he calls as “chubby nerd,” who is apparently the future Laura Bush. George Sr. (Dave B. Mitchell) on the other hand, is the irritable President who somewhat appears to be a straight man for his son’s eyes. He is known for being physically weak and is obsessed with saltine crackers. He is also allergic to Asian looking people.

In the first season, each episode is consisted of two story segments, with each segment featuring a musical performance of the Lil’ Bush Band. The second season premiered on March 13, 2008. Each episode is consisted of a 30-minute storyline including a musical segment.

Lil’ Bush is originally created for Amp’d Mobile. In 2007, Comedy Central ordered six episodes of the series. Its second season finale aired on May 15, 2008. The show is yet to be renewed for its third season.
