Actor Brent Sexton has appeared in numerous television shows such as Angel, Profiler, Chicago Hope, Diagnosis Murder, The X Files, Boston Public, Judging Amy, NYPD Blue, Will & Grace, Cold Case, and Grey's Anatomy. He is probably best known for his role of Harry Manning on Deadwood. In 2007, he was cast as Bobby Starks on NBC's drama series, Life.

Bobby Starks of Life is played by Brent Sexton. Bobby is the former partner of Charlie Crews, a cop who was wrongly sent to jail to serve twelve years for a triple homicide he did not commit. After a couple of years in the deadly prison, Charlie is exonerated and given his life back, though his relationship with Bobby is still unclear. Life follows the journey of a man who gets a second chance of living it to the fullest, despite his bitter past.
