Previously on Life: Crews (Damian Lewis) found out exactly what happened on the night his friends died.

The show called Life centers on Detective Charlie Crews (Damian Lewis) who was wrongfully convicted of three counts of murder. However, 12 years into his subsequent life sentence, he was released from prison and exonerated of all crimes. During his time in prison, he learned about Zen, developed a craving for fresh fruit and an obsession with learning who was really responsible for the murders he was convicted of. Somehow, he is reinstated into the Los Angeles police force, where he is now partnered with Detective Dani Reese (Sarah Shahi), who is recovering from an addiction to narcotics.

Frankly, it's surprising that Life was even renewed for a new season. But now that the show is relegated to Friday night at 10, it'll be even more surprising if it lives to see the end of the second season.
