The fate of
Life Unexpected still hangs in the balance as the rookie CW series ends its first season tonight with "Love Unexpected." What we know for certain though is that there is definitely a wedding on tonight's season closer. And as most-cliché-wedding-turn-of-events go, one party (Baze) realizes he's in love with one of the parties who's going to tie the knot (Cate).

Which Life Unexpected Character Are You?Fortunately for you trouble-lovers, T minus 24 hours before the big wedding, things aren't exactly going smoothly, aka, everything that can go wrong is indeed going haywire. When the venue for the rehearsal dinner becomes unavailable, Baze's (Kristoffer Polaha) bar becomes the most logical alternative - whoever came up with that ought to be shot. As if that's not bad enough, remember Baze's uppity dad? He's also back.

Shiri Appleby previews the episode to
E! Online: "Cate's fitted for a dress. I don't know if she's going to walk the aisle. There's definitely things on the table, like which guy to choose, what does it mean to have feelings for more than one person, does that mean you shouldn't marry somebody? What does it mean to get married? [And] it's really important to know that Lux is on her side."
As for Britt Robertson, who plays the daughter in the middle of it all, "Ultimately, Lux will be supportive either way."
