If you're looking for the new McDreamy, look no further. Jason O'Mara is a good looking Irish actor who's starring in the new ABC drama Life on Mars, conveniently airing after Grey's Anatomy. In fact, Grey's fans will probably recognize O'Mara as Phillip, Meredith and Derek's first brain tumor patient from last season who married his wife after knowing her for only 10 days.

In Life on Mars, O'Mara plays a present-day detective who mysteriously winds up back in the 1970s. Viewers will instantly connect to the character and, if you can get past the leather jackets and flared collars, you'll see a sensitive yet powerful man who is desperate to get back to the present day and the woman he loves.
