The individual who raises the most amount of money for the Children's Cancer Research Fund will receive a pair of tickets to Los Angeles, complete with accommodation and transportation, to attend CCRF's annual 5k RUN/WALK on April 27. During this event, Sheckler will personally award his Range Rover to the said winner of the fund-raising campaign.
“Cancer has affected our family and so many of our loved ones. We want to help make a difference and raise funds to find a cure,” Sheckler announced. “Our goal is to raise at least $100,000.00 if not beyond. I am very excited to get this event going as it will be the first of many. The Sheckler family will soon be launching our own foundation Sheckler Family Foundation.”
Anyone who wishes to take part in this project can do so via two options. Those with regular internet access can create their own fundraising pages and link them directly to Ryan Sheckler's official site, where visitors can then email to prospective donors. Others may simply print the downloadable forms and mail them in. All entries my be postmarked by April 10, 2008.
