Fans of MTV's Life of Ryan
star, Ryan Sheckler
, now have yet another avenue to source out more of his skateboarding-related adventures on video. Sheckler is among the high-profile celebrities and athletes featured in the newly-launched ShredOrDie.com
ShredOrDie.com promises to be the ultimate action sports video destination. It is the product of the collaborative efforts between the Or Die Networks and skateboarding legend, Tony Hawk.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
ShredOrDie.com underwent a soft launch back in October, but now, the website is fully loaded, functional and operational, for the perusing pleasure of avid extreme sports enthusiasts. It specializes in content heavy with the skate, snow, surf, BMX and motorcross sports culture. As creative director, Hawk is hands-on in charge of choosing action sports video material for the site. The goal is to make ShredOrDie.com the premiere video community for big-name athletes, professional and amateur filmmakers and regular, everyday users.
“I'm excited to be a part of Shred or Die because I like the idea of creating a site where action sports fans can find content from professional and non-professional athletes, as well as creating their own and sharing it,” Hawk announced. “The action sports community has a unique camaraderie and our site reflects that.”
Aside from being chockfull of action-packed extreme sports videos, ShredOrDie.com also has an impressive and extensive selection of interviews dubbed Dissent TV from Tony Hawk's very own THI/900 Films. Dissent TV documents the skateboarding icon's various travels and interactions with important sports figures and celebrities like Lance Armstrong, Shaun White, Ed Helms, Bam Margera, Isaac Brock, Christian Slater and Life of Ryan
's Ryan Sheckler.
In other news, the Life of Ryan
star had another meet and greet scheduled with his fans on Sunday, March 9. According to Ryan Sheckler's official website, the autograph signing session was to take place at Fashion Island on Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach, California. The event was slated to get underway from 1-3pm.
You may recall that the skateboarding phenom and reality star also held a similar meet and greet at Tilly's Clothing Store on Valentine's Day. That event was shut down by police after the crowd had reportedly swelled to unmanageable proportions. No word yet whether the Fashion Island appearance went more smoothly and without incident. Stay tuned.
