Life is WildLife is Wild, The CW's series set in the African bush, is winding down to its final episodes before running out of original material.  Last night, the freshman show saw Katie (Leah Pipes) turning to volunteer work for HIV-infected teenagers in South Africa as she struggles with remorse over her break-up with Oliver (Calvin Goldspink).

On Sunday, January 20, the trend of failed relationships continues in the episode entitled “P.O.C.”

In last night's installment called “Love Life,” Katie made friends with Ayanda (guest star Tema Sebopedi), counselor of the support group for young people with HIV.  Meanwhile, Emily (Tiffany Mulheron) confronted Jesse (Andrew St. John) after he was seen paying special attention to Mbali (Precious Kofi).  Elsewhere, tension ensued among Jo (Stephanie Niznik), Art (David Butler) and Danny (D.W. Moffet) after a green guide inspector determined that Art hasn't been observing eco-friendly practices.

This week on Life is Wild, Katie and Tumelo (Atandwa Kani) are both reeling from their own respective break-ups.  As they struggle through the pain, uncertainty and remorse, they come to discover that the bond they share and the unique relationship they have is special in its own distinct way.  Meanwhile, in other relationship-related happenings, Jesse (Andrew St. John) helps Mbali find the strength to call off her engagement.  Finally, Art and Jo step into each other's shoes as they trade places and swap chores and duties to find out whose responsibilities are more challenging and difficult.

The final episode written for this, Life is Wild's maiden and most likely only season, is called “Home.”  In it, Art manages to convince Danny to bring a male lion into the Blue Antelope's pride of big cats.  Unfortunately, the plan goes haywire and the two men wind up seriously hurt.  Elsewhere, Jesse makes up his mind about returning to New York while Katie does her best to convince him to stay.
